Can I undo a Delete URL?

Yes, as an authenticated site owner you can undo any active Delete URL/Path action on your site whether the delete action was initiated by you or another site owner.

To undo a delete action:

  1. Sign in to Site Explorer to go to My Sites.
  2. Click the Manage button next to the site to go the site management page.
  3. Click the Actions tab and locate the deleted URL.
  4. Click the Undo button next to the URL.

The undeleted URLs may start reappearing in the search index in 24 to 48 hours. If the delete action has been in place for many months, the URLs need to be refreshed by our crawlers and may take several weeks to reappear in the index

Note: When the status of an authenticated site owner changes, any Delete URL/Path actions that person made are:

  • Automatically deactivated.
  • Moved to "Authentication Failure" status.

And those URLs may start reappearing in the Yahoo! index.
