1. Change your password immediately to prevent any further unauthorized changes. To change your password, follow the instructions below.
Change Your Password
- Click the "Change Password" link below
(you will be asked to sign in if you are not already). - Enter your Current Password in the box provided, choose your new password and click "Save."
- Please write your password down – many people forget new passwords when they change them. Be sure to write your password down and keep it in a safe place for your reference.
NOTE: If you can't change you password using the link above, please click here and select "My account may have been compromised."
2. Edit your profile to remove any unauthorized content by following the instructions below:
Remove a photo:
Go to your profile and click on the "Change Photo" link located on your profile card just under the image that is there. A "Select Photo" pop-up will appear, and it will display your profile photo and any other uploaded images you have. To remove a photo, simply select the image (your selected display photo will be highlighted with an orange box) and click "Remove."Delete guestbook comment:
You can delete any comments that are written in your guestbook regardless of who the author is, as well as any comments that you have written in someone else's guestbook. To delete a guestbook comment, click on the "Delete" link located at the bottom of the entry.Edit or delete your status message:
To the right of your profile photo, place your cursor over your existing status message and simply click with your mouse. Your current status message will appear in a text box. Make your desired change and be sure to click "Save."Edit your name, age, gender and location information:
You can edit your name by clicking on the "Edit Profile" link located on your profile card just under the picture and to the right. You will be taken to the "Basics" page where you can edit your full name and your display name. Hit "Save" to save any changes.Edit your relationships, work, schools and interests:
You can edit your other information by clicking on the "Edit Profile" link located on your profile card. This is just under your picture and to the right. You will be able to select the gray bars on the right side of your screen. When selected, the bar becomes blue. You may change any information within those tabs. Hit "Save" to save any changes.
