In August 2006, we launched a newer version of the service (which we creatively called the New Yahoo! Photos) and began upgrading millions of users to this newer version. At the same time, we also began directing user sign-ups to the newer version ((so if you signed up for Yahoo! Photos in the US after August 15, 2006 you are using the New Yahoo! Photos).
The New Yahoo! Photos had several features that the older version did not support. Among them was the ability to order products from partners, such as the archive CD option we're currently offering through our partner Englaze. This feature was never enabled for the previous version and we're no longer upgrading users to the newer version, so unfortunately if you're on the older version of Yahoo! Photos you will not be able to order an archive CD of your photo collection.
