Unfortunately, you can't send email directly to or from a Yahoo! Personals Mailbox. The Yahoo! Personals Mailbox only allows private correspondence between Yahoo! Personals users.

Note: If you opted-in to do so during the profile creation process, you automatically receive a daily email notification of new messages available in your Yahoo! Personals Mailbox. This is sent to the primary email address listed in your account information. If you no longer wish to receive these notifications, you can unsubscribe from the email.

Because the Yahoo! Personals Mailbox is not like traditional email, you can neither forward your messages to another email account nor receive your messages in another email account. Think of this system as a private message board associated with profiles rather than as a full-featured email system.
