General Information:

• You must be 18 years old or older to create or reply to a Yahoo! Personals profile.
• Yahoo! reserves the right to reject or remove any profiles and photos and to take action on any accounts that Yahoo! determines, in our sole discretion, to be in violation of our policies.

Personal Profiles:

• Do not mention full names, email addresses, street addresses, phone numbers, URLs, web sites, Yahoo! Profiles, Yahoo! Briefcases, Yahoo! IDs, or instant messenger IDs/numbers in your personal profile.
• Do not use abusive, threatening, adult-oriented (i.e., overtly sexual), obscene, or otherwise objectionable language.
• Do not post spam (ads that contain unsolicited or unauthorized advertising or promotional materials; multiple postings of the same profile).
• Do not post detailed descriptions of physical characteristics (e.g., measurements, sizes, etc.) or the types of sexual activities that interest you.
• Do not post content that you do not have the right to post or that violates or infringes upon the rights of a third party.
• Do not create a profile if you are married. Only people with the following marital statuses may create profiles: single, widowed, divorced, or separated.

Photos:
Please view our examples of unacceptable photos.

• No nudity or obscenity. No depictions of violence, commonly illegal sexual behavior, or sexual acts involving animals or minors.
• You must be in the photo with your face clearly depicted.
• No more than two recognizable people.
• No collages of multiple images in one photo.
• Photos must be right-side up.
• No photos of you as a child—use a current one.
• No photos with contact information written on them.
• Only non-animated GIF and JPG files.
• Photos must be no larger than 5MB in size.
