The Yahoo! News search results page is based on a similar look and feel as the standard search results you'd get from the front page of Yahoo!. We feel this gives you the best experience by allowing easy toggling back and forth between more general results found at Yahoo! and more targeted news results found at Yahoo! News.

Some other features:

• You can search for news from news sources around the Web or news on Yahoo! News only. Also, you can search for news photos or audio and video.
• We display the source under the headline showing you exactly where in Yahoo! News (or elsewhere on the Web) a news story was found.
• We display an icon after each headline on results pages. Clicking on this icon opens that result in a new browser window.
• Lastly, our Advanced Search page keeps the basic elements mentioned above but allows for more detailed searching. You can get assistance with advanced search in News help or from a pop-up help window on the Advanced Search page.
