Tabs provide an easy way to navigate Yahoo! News. You'll find tabs at the top of the News front page and at the top of each news module as you scroll down the front page.

At the top, you'll find our main news categories: Top Stories, World, Business, Technology, Entertainment, etc. Clicking on the Entertainment tab, for example, takes you into the entertainment news section. It also presents you with a set of subcategories, seen in grey beneath the tab, including Movies, Music, TV, etc. Just click one of the subcategories for more specialized topical news.

You'll see additional modules as you scroll down the front page, each with its own set of tabs. For instance, in the Top Stories module, there are tabs for AP, Reuters, washingtonpost.com, USA Today, and more. Use these links to view headlines in the Top Stories module from a single specific news provider.

At the bottom of the module, the "More From" link offers access to additional news providers such as the Los Angeles Times, Chicago Tribune, and Knight Ridder Newspapers. Click one of these links to view a page with top stories from the specific source you select.

What does "My Sources" mean?

We've included a great way for you to get news from the sources you want to read, in addition to the great sources provided by Yahoo! News. If you're signed in and a My Yahoo! user, clicking "My Sources" will display headlines from top news providers you've selected on My Yahoo!.

You can also customize what news you get under the My Sources tab:

1. Click "Add/Edit My Sources."
2. On the next page, choose any number of news providers such as the New York Times, CNN.com, MSNBC.com, and many others.
3. After selecting the news you want, click "Finished" to save your choices and go back to Yahoo! News.

Now you'll see headlines from the sources you chose under the My Sources tab.
