How do I get LAUNCHcast to work in Messenger 8.0?
Yahoo! LAUNCHcast should be available at the bottom of the window when you start the new 8.0 version of Yahoo! Messenger. If you do not see your LAUNCHcast controls or information when you start Messenger, or if the LAUNCHcast window comes up blank, try the following:
- Click the down arrow at the right side of the LAUNCHcast tab. Click “Close.”
- Now, click the green "Plug Ins" button, below your friends list. (In Messenger 8.0, services like LAUNCHcast are managed with plug-ins you can add and remove at your discretion.)
- Click the "My Plug-ins" tab and locate Yahoo! Music LAUNCHcast.
Click the “Start” button.
If this does not bring up LAUNCHcast normally, try exiting and closing Yahoo! Messenger completely, then restarting.
