Support for Windows 2000 Discontinued
On March 16th 2007, the minimum system requirements for using the Yahoo! Music Jukebox will change: support for Windows 2000 will be discontinued, and the Yahoo! Music Jukebox and Yahoo! Music Unlimited will not function properly with computers running this operating system. This change will impact all PCs running Windows 2000.
After the date above, you will not be able to use the Yahoo! Music Jukebox on a Windows 2000 machine unless you upgrade the computer to a compatible operating system; or access Jukebox and Yahoo! Music Unlimited on another computer that meets the minimum system requirements.
As of March 16, 2007, the minimum system requirements for the Yahoo! Music Jukebox and Yahoo! Music Unlimited will be:
- Microsoft Windows XP (32 bit versions) or Vista, IE 6.0+
- Windows Media Player 9.0 or higher
- Pentium III 300 MHz processor
- 128MB Ram
- Latest Windows Service Packs
- Yahoo! Music Jukebox
