Plug-In Conflict with Yahoo! Music Jukebox Plus Audio Boost

If you received this error, it’s likely the Audio Boost feature in Yahoo! Music Jukebox Plus has encountered a conflict with a plug-in in Windows Media Player. Jukebox has disabled the Audio Boost feature so you may continue enjoying playback, but without the audio enhancement of Boost.

At present, the most common conflict is with Morgan Stream Switcher, a 3rd party plug-in that you or someone using this machine may have installed. Removing the plug-in may be the best way to resolve the issue. Alternatively, we are planning to provide a fix for this error in an upcoming release of the Yahoo! Music Jukebox, tentatively scheduled for April, if you’d like to wait for that release.

If you’d like to remove the plug-in now, here’s how:
  1. Go to Start > Settings > Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs
  2. Locate Morgan Stream Switcher. If you do not have Morgan Stream Switcher, the error may be related to another conflicting plug-in. Reply to this email in that case.
  3. Remove Morgan Stream Switcher completely from your computer. Disabling the plug-in will not resolve the issue, it must be removed.
  4. Restart the Yahoo! Music Jukebox and play a track using Audio Boost. If Boost works normally, the problem is resolved.

If you receive the error again, it may be related to another conflicting plug-in. Please reply to this email and we’ll try and resolve this for you.
