If you are seeing Script Errors when using the Yahoo! Music Jukebox, the problem may be due to your current system configuration. You may be able to resolve this issue by taking the following troubleshooting steps:

  1. Clear Cache (Temporary Internet Files)
  2. In many cases, the problem can be resolved by simply clearing your cache.

    • Go to Start > Control Panel > Internet Options (or Start > Settings > Control Panel > Internet Options).
    • Under Temporary Internet Files, click the Delete Files button, and click OK in the dialog that appears.
    • If this does not resolve the problem, continue on to the solutions below.
  3. Configure the following Internet Settings on your computer:
    • Go to Start > Control Panel > Internet Options (or Start > Settings > Control Panel > Internet Options).
    • Click on the Advanced Tab.
    • Uncheck the boxes in the HTTP 1.1 Settings section.
    • For Windows XP SP 2 Users, under the Security section, make sure Allow active content to run in files on My Computer is checked (if available).
    • Click on the General Tab.
    • Under Temporary Internet Files, click the Delete Files button, and click OK in the dialog that appears.
    • Click on the Security Tab.
    • Click the Internet zone icon and then click the Custom Level button.
    • Under ActiveX controls and plug-ins if there is a setting labeled Binary and script behaviors, make sure it is set to Enabled.
    • Click OK to save the changes.
  4. Configure any pop-up/ad blocking software as well as software firewalls to permit the Yahoo! Music Jukebox to access the Internet.
  5. Update your computer to the latest Service Packs for Microsoft Windows Internet Explorer. Click here.
  6. Your Microsoft Windows Scripting Engine may need to be updated. Click Here.
  7. Make sure that cookies and scripting are enabled.

After completing the above steps, please restart the Yahoo! Music Jukebox. If the problem persists, contact Customer Care.
