You may see this error on occasion, when CPU usage is high, for whatever reason. Easiest thing to try is just hitting the Play button again. If that fails, close and restart the Yahoo! Music Jukebox.

If you have a Dell computer using Sigma Tel audio software -- especially on Vista -- and you are having problems playing tracks or seeing this error, try disabling all enhancements on the Sigma Tel driver:

Vista:

  1. Go to Control panel > Hardware and Sound > Manage Audio Devices
  2. Select the Sigma Tel device and click Properties
  3. Select the Enhancements tab and check the box 'Disable All Enhancements.'
  4. Click OK until you are back where you started

Windows XP:

  1. Go to ‘Control Panel’
  2. Choose ‘Sound’
  3. Highlight the Sigma Tel device and choose ‘Properties’
  4. Go to the ‘Enhancement’ tab, and click 'Disable all Enhancements'
