Supported Audio Formats
You can make the Yahoo! Music Jukebox the default player (instructions below) for any or all of these audio files:
MP3 (MPEG audio, layer 3) Files with .mp3 and .m3u extensions.
WMA (Windows Media Audio) Windows Media files with .wma and .wax extensions.
AAC (Advanced Audio Coding) Files with .aac extensions.
CDA (music CD Audio) Music CD files with .cda extensions.
OGG (Ogg Vorbis files) Files with .ogg extensions.
FLAC (Free Lossless Audio Codec) Files with .flac extensions.
WAV (Wave audio file) Files with .wav extensions.
ASF (Advanced Streaming File) Windows Media files with .asf, .asx, .wm, .wmx, .wmp, and .wpl extensions.
MIDI (Musical Instrument Digital Interface) Files with .mid, .midi, and .rmi extensions.
AIFF (Audio Interchange File Format) Files with .aif, .aifc, and .aiff extensions.
AU (Unix audio file) Files with .au and .snd extensions.

To make the Yahoo! Music Jukebox your default player:
- Start the Yahoo! Music Jukebox and log on using your free Yahoo! ID and password.
- From the Edit menu, select Preferences... In the Preferences dialog, click My Music.
- By default, all the file types in the File Associations box that the Yahoo! Music Jukebox plays are highlighted. To individually select a file type, first click Select None then click an individual file type. Shift-click to select more than one file type.

Restore file associations at Yahoo! Music Jukebox startup ensures that the Yahoo! Music Jukebox is still the default player when it starts.
- Click Apply then OK to close the box.
