Auto Play, AutoBrowse, Find Other Versions

Auto Play

Auto Play is a feature that makes the Yahoo! Music Jukebox work like a traditional jukebox: it will queue up songs that you request, and when that list is empty, will randomly play songs you may like from the entire Yahoo! Music Unlimited library until you make a request for additional music. The idea is that the music will never stop. With Auto Play turned on, if the music in Now Playing comes to an end, the Jukebox will analyze the last 30 tracks (or less) you listened to and play a track similar to those previous songs.

Turn On Auto Play:
  1. Right-click on any Yahoo! Music Unlimited page. Select Auto Play from the right-click menu then Turn On. You will see the Auto Play control appear at the bottom of the screen.
  2. In the Auto Play control window, you will see the name of a song queued up to be played next.

Listening to Music with Auto Play:
  1. If you don’t like the song played, click the Play button in the Auto Play control to play the next suggested track.
  2. If you don’t want to hear the next recommended song, click the Refresh button for a different recommendation.
  3. If you want Auto Play to immediately re-analyze the previous 30 songs, right-click anywhere on the page, select Auto Play then select ‘Reload’.

Turn Off Auto Play:

Right-click on any Yahoo! Music Unlimited page. Select Auto Play from the right-click menu then Turn Off. (Note: simply minimizing the Auto Play control will not shut it off.)

AutoBrowse

AutoBrowse is a new feature that tells the Yahoo! Music Jukebox to automatically go to the Song page of the track that will play next. This feature allows you to quickly see what is currently playing. If you decide to navigate to another page while AutoBrowse is turned on, you will be prompted to turn off AutoBrowse if you wish. (Note: this feature existed in MusicMatch Jukebox, so we have added it to the Yahoo! Music Jukebox based on user requests.)

Turn On AutoBrowse:
  1. On most Yahoo! Music Unlimited pages in the Jukebox, right click then select "Enable Autobrowse".
  2. At the end of the currently playing song, the Jukebox will automatically jump to the Song page of the next playing song, and stay there until the next song plays.

Turn Off AutoBrowse:

You can click the link at the top of the page "AutoBrowse ON" to switch to the OFF mode; or right-click any Yahoo! Music Unlimited page and select Disable AutoBrowse

Find Other Versions

This is a feature that lets you find other versions of a song in the Yahoo! Music Unlimited library.
  1. On any list of songs, i.e., from a search result, on an artist or album page, etc., right-click and select "Find Other Versions."
  2. You will then be presented with a new list of all songs with that title in our library.
