What Can't You Burn to CD?

You can generally burn tracks you have imported yourself from CDs to another CD. On occasion, you may find imported music with burn rights or limitations. You cannot burn Yahoo! Music Unlimited subscription music. The music available from Yahoo! Music Unlimited allows you to listen, share with friends and, with Y! Unlimited To Go, to put on compatible portable devices. But the digital rights management (DRM) rules don't allow these tracks to be burned to CD.

If you really love a track and want it on CD, you can buy it as a burnable download. Just search for the track on Yahoo! Music Unlimited and when you see the search results page, click the Buy button next to the selection, if it is available for purchase. Then you can burn the music to CD as you would an imported track. Note that Y! Unlimited tracks have a limit of 7 playlist burns. This means after you burn a Y! Unlimited burnable download from the same playlist seven times, you need to move it or create a new playlist for it to continue burning.
