My Music is the name of your music collection in the Yahoo! Music Jukebox. It's the place where all the songs you have burned, added from Yahoo! Music Unlimited, purchased, or downloaded are stored. You manage all your music from the
My Music view.
From anywhere on the Yahoo! Music Jukebox, click
My Music in the left pane to access your collection.
How to Use My Music
The default view shows you all the artists in your collection in the top left, and all songs in the lower pane. Clicking the artist name in the left pane shows you the albums, any accompanying album art in the right pane, and the songs in the lower pane.
Right-click any song name in the lower pane and get information about the song, create a similar song playlist, and much more. Use the right-click menu in many places on the Yahoo! Music Jukebox as a shortcut.
The column marked
Burnable tells you whether the track can be burned to CD (generally tracks you imported from your CDs or purchased as burnable downloads from Y! Unlimited are burnable).
The
Type column tells you what kind of track this is:
- Stream is a Y! Unlimited subscription track you have bookmarked only (cannot be transferred to portable device or burned to CD).
- Subscription is a Y! Unlimited subscription track you have downloaded to your local machine. With Yahoo! Music Unlimited To Go, you can transfer this to portable devices, but you cannot burn to CD.
- Imported is a track you either imported yourself from a CD or purchased as a Y! Unlimited burnable download. You can burn this to CD and transfer to portable devices.
- Purchased is a track you bought as a Y! Unlimited burnable download. You can burn this to CD and transfer to portable devices, and it does not become non-playable if your subscription ends.

Create Playlists from My Music
You create playlists using
Now Playing on the right side of the window. Drag any items from
My Music into
Now Playing -- drag an artists's name and all their music automatically populates the playlist; drag an album or series of songs, and just those items populate the playlist. You can even drag an entire genre.
Once the playlist is filled with songs, choose one of the options at the top, to save it, burn to CD, or select the
Actions menu button for more options, such as transferring the playlist to a portable device.
