Change Yahoo! Music Jukebox as Default Music Player
To adjust those types of files for which the Yahoo! Music Jukebox is your default player, do the following:
- Start the Yahoo! Music Jukebox and click Edit > Preferences from the top-level menu.
- Click My Music in the left pane.
- Under File Associations, you can select those media types you wish the Yahoo! Music Jukebox to be the default player for. You can click Select none to clear the list then select the individual type for each. So, for example, you could select the Yahoo! Music Jukebox as the default player for all Windows Media (WMA files) but leave another application as default player for MIDI files.

Restore file associations at Yahoo! Music Jukebox startup means that the Yahoo! Music Jukebox will remain as the default player for those media types you chose. Very often, when you load or install other players, they will overwrite your preferences and make themselves the new default media player. Clicking this button insures that if you wish the Yahoo! Music Jukebox to be the default music player, it will not be overwritten by another player you install.
