The Samsung YH-925GS Requires a Free Software Update to Function Properly with the Yahoo! Music Jukebox
A number of portable devices are compatible with Yahoo! Music Unlimited subscription song files, including the devices below. However, they may need some additional software that did not come installed from the manufacturer. It's easy to go to the manufacturer's site, download the firmware update, and you're ready to go.
Instructions for Firmware Updates for Samsung YH-925GS
- Download the firmware from Samsung.
- We suggest you download the instruction manual also available at the page above.
- Connect your device.
- Close the Yahoo! Music Jukebox, all other media applications (Windows Media Player, Musicmatch Jukebox, etc.), and all other windows on your desktop.
- Double-click the installer on your desktop and install the firmware update. If the firmware update application doesn't recognize your device, you may have to install the software from the CD that came with your device.
- If the Windows "MTP Media Player" dialog box appears after the firmware update succeeds, just hit Cancel.
- Now you can run your device with the Yahoo! Music Jukebox. The Samsung YH-925GS should show up in the left pane of the Yahoo! Music Jukebox, and you should be able to transfer your subscription songs to it.
