You can
share your playlists for others in the Yahoo! Music community to listen and enjoy.
At the top right side of your playlist, create or edit a description for it -- this is what anyone in the Yahoo! Music community will see when your playlist comes up in a search. Be creative!
Once you've entered a description, click
Make it public. This allows other Yahoo! Music Jukebox users who search by playlist title, song name, artist name, username, or other search terms to find your playlist. If they subscribe to Yahoo! Music Unlimited, they can play your full songs; if not, they can still enjoy :30 samples and get your suggested music mixes (for songs available through the Yahoo! Music Unlimited catalogue).
When you make your playlist public, it will be displayed on your Music Profile page. Access your Music Profile page by clicking your username at the top left side of the Yahoo! Music Jukebox (you must be logged in). On your Music Profile page, you will see your two most recently published playlists with a link to see all.
To publish your playlists on the web, use the buttons at the top right of your playlist. Share by IM, email or copyng and pasting the link (to a blog, webpage, etc.). The link you send or paste will take the recipient to a web-published version of your playlist. On that web playlist, they can play all or some of the songs. You can only share public playlists on the web.
You can find playlists from other members by checking out their music profiles in the Yahoo! Music Jukebox. Please note that only playlists they have made public will be displayed.
To make your playlist private again, simply click
Make it private at the top of the playlist pane.
Search for Other Members' Playlists
Want to find a playlist someone else has created with just the music you're looking for? Search for playlists by selecting
Playlist in the search pulldown menu at the top of the Yahoo! Music Jukebox. Enter a playlist title, song name, artist name, member's username, or other search term or keyword (e.g., 'dance') then click
Search to find public playlists. The results will show you the playlist names, who created them, the most representative artists and the number of songs in each playlist. If you click the title, you can see the full tracklist for each playlist and easily play the songs or add them to your device.
