Music in the Home
Yahoo! Music Jukebox lets you take your music beyond the PC to share and enjoy it throughout your home or office. Using optional media players and devices, you can enjoy all the music you have in the Yahoo! Music Jukebox and Yahoo! Music Unlimited anywhere in your home, including your best sound systems or shared with other listeners. You can think of it as a way to bring music into every aspect of your life.
There are two ways to enjoy music from your PC with the Yahoo! Music Jukebox at home:

The Network Music feature of the Yahoo! Music Jukebox with an optional network media player
Network Music is a feature of the Yahoo! Music Jukebox (versions 1.1 and above) that allows you to play music on sound systems and other PCs on a local area network. With Network Music, you can:
- Connect to other PCs on a local area network and share and enjoy music from others. See Network Music for more details: just turn the feature on, and access other users’ music on a LAN.
- Use an optional network media player to control your music from any sound system. Compatible network media players allow you to control and access the music on the Yahoo! Music Jukebox. Unlike a basic wireless audio adapter, a network media player allows you to control the music from where you listen to it most, so you don’t even have to be in the same room as your PC to enjoy all the music stored on it.

Optional wireless audio adapter
A wireless audio adapter is a simple product that lets you “broadcast” music from the Yahoo! Music Jukebox to a nearby sound system. These are often categorized as 802.11 or Bluetooth devices. Examples of these devices appear on the Wireless Audio information page.
Some wireless audio adapters include a CD containing the Yahoo! Music Jukebox and a required plugin. These CDs typically offer a simple setup process to quickly begin enjoying music from the Yahoo! Music Jukebox on your home sound system. Unlike network media players that work with the Network Music feature, a wireless audio adapter requires you to start and control music playback from the PC.
