  1. Open the browser on your phone and type in the URL m.yahoo.com to access Yahoo!'s Mobile Web page. Consult your phone's manual for details about its browser. You might also want to create a bookmark for m.yahoo.com.
  2. Click Messenger.
  3. Type in your Yahoo! ID and password, and click Sign in.
  4. If shown, click the link to login to Yahoo! Messenger.

If you don't have your phone's manual and you don't know how to open your phone's browser, another way to get to Yahoo! Messenger's mobile page is to send a message to your phone. Click this link to a page that can send a message directly to your phone. In most up-to-date phones, you can use the message to open the mobile homepage. Click this link if you are having problems with the confirmation code.

If you access Yahoo! Messenger through your mobile phone’s web browser, we recommend a subscription for mobile Internet access through your wireless provider. Yahoo! does not have this information, so check your plan from your wireless provider for details.

Text messaging option

It is also possible to access Yahoo! Messenger through text messaging. You should have a text messaging plan from your wireless provider. Check your wireless plan for details.
