If you are receiving Mobile Alerts from Yahoo! that don't make sense, the following situations might apply:

• Your phone number is getting Mobile Alerts created for the number's previous owner or owners
• Your phone has a Yahoo! Mobile Alert that you created but have forgotten about

Yahoo! can stop mobile alerts if they are initiated from the Yahoo! Mobile Alerts system. To confirm that an alert is from Yahoo!, examine the From: line of the message for Yahoo! information—for example, y-alerts@reply.yahoo.com.
