If you are sure you have not created any Yahoo! Mobile Alerts, follow the steps under Requesting cancellation of Yahoo! Mobile Alerts.

Otherwise, follow the steps under Noting your alerts.

Noting your alerts

1. Navigate to the My Mobile page.
2. Examine the list of alerts.
3. Write down the alerts as needed. You will need to re-create them after they've been canceled on the Yahoo! system.
4. Continue with step 1 of Requesting cancellation of Yahoo! Mobile Alerts.

Requesting cancellation of Yahoo! Mobile Alerts

To cancel all Yahoo! Mobile Alerts, do the following:

1. Write down the exact contents of the last text message you have received. The text message has to be no older than a week, or we cannot find it in our system.
2. Open the Yahoo! Mobile Alerts Help Form.
3. Provide the information for the form, including the exact contents of the message from step 1.
4. Click Send.

Requesting cancellation of alerts through your carrier

To stop all text messages to your phone, you will need to contact your mobile carrier as only they can prevent all messages from being delivered to your device. Do not do this if you want to create or re-create your Yahoo! Mobile Alerts.

Re-creating Yahoo! Mobile Alerts

Once you are satisfied that unwanted alerts have stopped coming to your phone, follow these steps as needed.

1. Navigate to the My Mobile page.
2. Examine the list of alerts you've written down in Noting your alerts.
3. Create the alerts.
