Easy. Windows Live friends add you to their contact list the same way they add any other contact, but they must enter your complete Yahoo! ID—with the “@yahoo.com” included. This is how Windows Live™ Messenger recognizes your ID as a Yahoo! ID. For example, if your ID is “qualitymilkshakesforless”, your friend should enter qualitymilkshakesforless@yahoo.com.
