"Preview" means that it isn't the finished product. It's potentially unstable and features can be missing that you'll see in a later release. Yahoo! Messenger for Vista Preview users were part of a select group of Yahoo! Messenger users whose feedback helped shape the product. That's why we previewed it, and also why you were in on it!

Thanks to all the efforts of our preview users, Yahoo! Messenger for Vista Beta is now available for download. Be sure to check out some of the additional features that we added to the beta version. Download it from this address:

If you want to use features that are not available in the Vista version, you can still use your old version of Yahoo! Messenger, it was not uninstalled when you installed the Vista version.
