Once you’ve installed Yahoo! Messenger for Vista, you’ve got some options! :o)
Either click the Messenger icon in the system tray at the bottom of your screen, or add the Messenger sidebar gadget to the edge of your screen by clicking + in the upper-right corner of the screen and selecting Yahoo! Messenger for Vista from the window that opens. These two options give you the quickest access to Yahoo! Messenger for Vista.
You can also click the Windows Start button in the lower-left corner, click All Programs, then click Yahoo! Messenger.
The sign-in dialog opens. Enter your Yahoo! ID and password and click Sign In to get going. Or, if you’d like to automate this process going forward, you can check the box next to “remember my password”. This illuminates a further option: “sign in automatically”. Again, check the box if this is your preference.
Finally, you may also choose to “sign in as invisible” if you’d rather not let others know you’re online. Shhh…
