There are three easy ways to update your broadcasts within the Messenger 9.0 after you're signed in:

Option 1

1. Select Messenger from the main menu.
2. Select Manage Updates I Broadcast.

Option 2

1. Select Messenger from the main menu.
2. Select Privacy Options.
3. Click Manage the Updates that I Broadcast.

Option 3

1. Click your Avatar or Photo.
2. Select Manage My Updates.

By default, all properties are set to Yes! I want to share my updates with other Yahoo! users. If you don't want to share all of your updates, you have the power to modify your permissions in three easy steps. To block all property updates:

1. Select No thanks, I don't want to share my updates with other Yahoo! users.
2. Click OK. You'll be taken to a new page.
3. On this page, click Change.

You also have the option of not sharing individual properties. If you want to block updates to individual properties:

1. Choose one or more properties and select Don't share my updates from the drop down menu(s).
2. Click OK. The following message appears: Opting out of this source will stop broadcasting updates. However, some updates may continue to be displayed from the cache for a short while.
3. Click OK. You'll be taken to a new page.
4. Click Change.
