Why can't my friend and I send Audibles back and forth?

If you're having a problem sending or receiving Audibles, you or your friend may have a corrupt file. Don't worry, this sounds much worse than it really is. Deleting the cache files should get everything back on the right track.

Please Note: Teamwork is the key here - both parties need to follow the directions below!

  1. Close Yahoo! Messenger, if you currently have it running.
  2. Go to your desktop and double-click My Computer.
  3. Click C: drive.
  4. Find the directory: c:\Program Files\Yahoo!\Messenger\cache\
  5. Highlight the audiblemenu and audiblerevoked files and press the Delete key on your keyboard.
  6. Find the directory: c:\Program Files\Yahoo!\Messenger\cache\Audibles
  7. Highlight the files in that folder and press the Delete key on your keyboard.
  8. Sign in to Yahoo! Messenger, and you should be all set.
