Yahoo! Messenger can’t access your microphone because Windows thinks it’s already being used by another application. One of the following steps should correct the problem (try them in order):

1. Close all other applications running on your computer.
2. Restart Yahoo! Messenger.
3. Shut down and restart your computer.
