If you’re only using the Yahoo! Phone Out service, the word "Anonymous" or "Unavailable" or “777-777-7777” is shown in the Caller ID of the person you're calling. There’s not much you can do about that, as we don't offer the ability to change this if you're only using Yahoo! Phone Out.

However, if you're using the Yahoo! Phone In service, you can choose "Anonymous" (or any of the numbers you own). To set the Caller ID preference:

1. Click the Messenger menu at the top of your Messenger List.
2. Select Preferences.
3. Select "Yahoo! Voice."
4. Under "My Caller ID Call In," choose what you want to be exposed in the Caller ID of the person you are calling.

If you have one Yahoo! Phone In number, the default setting will be that number, not "Anonymous." If you have more than one Yahoo! Phone In number, the default setting will be the last number purchased.
