Disabling Yahoo! Mail Alerts is easy. Here's how:
- In the Yahoo! Messenger window, click the "Login" menu.
- Select "Preferences."
- Choose the "Alerts and Sounds" category.
- Click on "I receive a message in Yahoo! Mail" option.
- Uncheck the following boxes:
-Display a dialog box.
-Playing sound boxes.
-Showing an icon in the task bar.
-Showing a message at the right bottom corner of my screen.
