If the recipient or mobile owner doesn't respond after the third message, the sender (PC user) will receive the "Your friend must respond to one of your messages before you can send more" error message.
Keep in mind that we limit the number of messages that can be sent from the PC to the mobile device if the mobile user doesn't respond. There are good reasons for this -- it prevents SPAM and other abuse, and also encourages mobile users to have actual, real-life two-way conversations, instead of simply using this feature as a paging service.
To receive the text message and future text messages from Yahoo! Messenger, the recipient or mobile owner can reset their phone by typing in the following command:
unblock all
Then, send the command as a text message to the following supported wireless carriers:
[92466] all US Supported Wireless Providers
[92466000] Rogers Canada
[8242] all India Supported Providers
[17776] TMTOUCH, Malaysia
[428801] Singtel, Singapore
[83140] AIS, Thailand
[192466600] DTAC, Thailand
[2258800] Globe - Philippines
[258600] SMART - Philippines
[4246000] Telkomsel - Indonesia
[9246] - Excelcom
[1411] - Wataniya
The person with the PC should be able to compose a message to that number again.
