To sign out of Yahoo! Messenger:

1. Click the Messenger menu in Yahoo! Messenger and select "Sign Out."
2. To exit Yahoo! Messenger completely, right-click on the emoticon located in your system tray (bottom right corner of your screen) and select "Exit."
