If you're having a problem sending or receiving Audibles, you or your friend may have a corrupt file. Don't worry, this sounds much worse than it really is. Deleting the cache files should get everything back on the right track.
Please Note: Teamwork is the key here - both parties need to follow the directions below!
- Close Yahoo! Messenger, if you currently have it running.
- Go to your desktop and double-click My Computer.
- Click C: drive.
- Find the directory:
c:\Program Files\Yahoo!\Messenger\cache\
- Highlight the audiblemenu and audiblerevoked files and press the Delete key on your keyboard.
- Find the directory:
c:\Program Files\Yahoo!\Messenger\cache\Audibles
- Highlight the files in that folder and press the Delete key on your keyboard.
- Sign in to Yahoo! Messenger, and you should be all set.
