How do I edit contact information?
To edit contact information for individuals on your Messenger List:
- Right-click on the individual in your Messenger List and select "Contact Details."
- Enter or edit the information and click the "Save & Close" button.
Note: Yahoo! Messenger first looks at the "Nickname" field to see if a name is entered. If a nickname is entered, the nickname will be displayed in your Messenger List. If a nickname is not entered, Yahoo! Messenger then looks at the "First/Last Name" fields. If there are no entries in any of these fields, the regular Yahoo! ID will be displayed in your Messenger List.
