Here's how:
If the site has an "Add to My Yahoo!" button, just click that button and you're done. You'll start getting feeds from that site very shortly.
If you don’t see the "Add to My Yahoo!" button, here's what to do:
- Go to the site and look for a small orange rectangle that says "RSS". Sometimes it says "XML" instead of "RSS".
- Click the rectangle. You might see the "Add to My Yahoo!" button here. If so, click it! And you’re done. If not, you'll see a page with a lot of mumbo jumbo computer language. Don't worry about that!
- At the top of the mumbo-jumbo page, in your browser's address window, you'll see a web address that begins with "http://" and likely ends with ".xml". (It might even contain "rss".)
- Select (highlight) and copy the entire address. Here’s how:
- Select the address: click once in the address window. You can also hold down the mouse button and drag across the address.
- Copy it: either press Ctrl+C (Command+C on Macs), or, in the Edit menu, click Copy.
- Now, on the left side of your screen, next to "All RSS Feeds" click Add to open the Add Content window.
- Paste the address you just copied. Here's how:
- Click in the search window, then either press Ctrl+V (Command+V on Macs), or, in the Edit menu, click Paste.
- Press Enter or click Go.
- The RSS feed should appear below. Click Add.
- That’s it! Ahhh.
Note: If you don't see an orange rectangle with RSS on your favorite site, it probably doesn't have an RSS feed and you won't be able to add it to your "All RSS Feeds" list.
