You noticed that too, huh? Every once in a while, one of the thousands of extensions available in Firefox comes along and spoils your ability to do something in Yahoo! Mail. We’ve found that the Skype Toolbar extension interferes with adjusting your reading pane and saving the setting. The fix for this is uninstalling the Skype Toolbar extension. Here’s how to do it:

1. In the “Tools” drop down menu, select “Extensions”.
2. Select “Skype Toolbar” and click Uninstall.
3. In the uninstall popup box that appears, click OK.

Note: You’ll see the Skype Toolbar extension stay in the list of extensions. Once you close the browser window and open up a new window, it will be gone.
