Sometimes, due to how a browser behaves, you might need to clear (delete) your browser's cookies for Yahoo! Mail to work properly.

Note: If you are using a browser or an operating system that is not listed here, please check your browser's help for instructions on deleting cookies.
Internet Explorer 6.x (Windows)
- From the Tools menu, select Internet Options. The Internet Options dialog box appears.

- On the General tab, under Browsing history, click Delete. The Delete Browsing History dialog box appears.

- Under Cookies, click Delete cookies. A dialog box appears asking if you want to delete all cookies in the Temporary Internet Files folder. Click OK to confirm the deletion.
- Click Close to close the Delete Browsing History dialog box.
- Click OK to close the Internet Options dialog box and save your changes.
Internet Explorer 7.x (Windows)
- Select Tools | Internet Options.
- Click Delete under "Browsing History."
- Click Delete All at the bottom and click OK if prompted.
- Click the OK button at the bottom of the Internet Options window.
- Close and restart your browser.
Internet Explorer 8.x (Windows)
- Select Tools | Internet Options.
- Click Delete under "Browsing History."
- Place a check in the Temporary Internet Files and History checkboxes.
- Click the OK button at the bottom of the Internet Options window.
- Close and restart your browser.
Internet Explorer 9.x (Windows)
- Select Tools | Internet Options.
- Under "Browsing History," click Delete.
- Place a check in the Temporary Internet Files and Cookies checkboxes.
- Click Delete at the bottom of the pop-up window.
- Close and restart your browser.
- From the Tools menu, select Clear Private Data. The Clear Private Data dialog box appears.

- Select the Cookies checkbox. Make sure the other checkboxes are not selected.
- Click Clear Private Data Now.
Note: There is no confirmation on this action. After you click Clear Private Data Now, you cannot recover any cookies you have deleted.
The dialog box closes, and your cookies are now removed.
Firefox 3 and newer (Mac OS X)
- From the Tools menu, select Clear Recent History. The Clear Recent History dialog box appears.

- From the Time range to clear pull-down menu, select Everything. The dialog box name changes to Clear All History, and a warning message appears.

- Select the Cookies checkbox. Make sure the other checkboxes aren’t selected.
- Click Clear Now.
Note: There is no confirmation on this action. After you click Clear Now, you cannot recover any cookies you have deleted.
The dialog box closes, and your cookies are now removed.
- From the Tools menu, select Clear Recent History. The Clear Recent History dialog box appears.

- From the Time range to clear pull-down menu, select Everything. The name of the dialog box changes to Clear All History.

- Click the button to the left of Details to reveal a list of possible items to delete.
- Select the Cookies checkbox. Make sure the other checkboxes are not selected.
- Click Clear Now.
The dialog box closes, and your cookies are now removed.
- From the Safari menu, select Preferences. A dialog box appears.

- In the top section of the dialog box, click Security. The dialog box name changes to Security.
- Click Show Cookies. A window appears showing all the cookies stored on your system.

- Click Remove All. A dialog box appears asking if you are sure you want to remove all cookies. Click Remove All to confirm and close this dialog box.
- Click Done, and then close the Security dialog box.
All your cookies are now removed.
- From the Action menu (it’s near the upper-right corner of the Safari window and looks like a gear), select Preferences. A dialog box appears.

- In the top section of the dialog box, click Security. The dialog box name changes to Security.
- Click Show Cookies. A window appears listing all the cookies stored on your system.

- Click Remove All. A dialog box appears asking if you are sure you want to remove all cookies. Click Remove All to confirm and close this dialog box.
- Click Done, and then close the Security dialog box.
All your cookies are now removed.
- From the Tools menu, select Advanced > Cookies. The Cookie Manager dialog box appears.
Opera on Mac OS X:

Opera on Windows:

- Select the cookies to be deleted, and then click Delete.
Note: There is no confirmation box. After you click Delete, your cookies are permanently deleted. - Click Close to close the Cookie Manager dialog box.
- From the Wrench menu (it’s near the upper-right corner of the Chrome window and looks like a wrench), select Options. The Google Chrome Options dialog box appears.

- Click the Under the Hood tab.
- Scroll down the Privacy section to Cookie settings, and then click Show cookies. A dialog box appears listing all the cookies stored on your system.

- Click Remove All.
Note: After you click Remove All there is no confirmation dialog. All your selected cookies are immediately deleted. - Click Close to close the dialog box, and then click Close to close the Google Chrome Options dialog box.
