This might indicate that your browser is waiting for information from a server, is busy processing internally, or has temporarily crashed.

At certain times of the day, traffic on the lines connecting our server with your computer becomes quite busy. This can slow things down. If you're waiting longer than a minute and nothing is happening, try clicking the button or link again.

If it's not taking you anywhere, here are two tactics worth trying:

  • Quit and re-open the browser. If the browser itself is not responding, you'll have to click "End Now" in the "Program Not Responding" window (Windows machines) or select "Force quit" from the Apple menu (Macs).
  • Similarly, shutting down and re-starting your computer often solves this kind of problem.

Finally, if your browser hangs or freezes frequently, it might help to clear your browser's cache.
