I'm having trouble with POP mail. But it used to work! What's going on?

If you recently changed your password, you also updated your Yahoo! Mail account. Yahoo! Mail doesn’t know if you have a new password unless you enter it. Editing this information in your Yahoo! Mail account settings should correct the problem.

To do it:

  1. Click Options in the upper-right corner of your Mail page.
  2. Select More Options.
  3. Choose Account Information.
  4. Enter your password.
  5. Under "Sign-in Security", click Change your password.
  6. Enter your old password, and your new password.
  7. Click Save .

Note: If you update this setting and still have trouble, contact your Internet Service Provider or your work or school’s Network Administrator to see if too many password attempts tripped a switch that temporarily blocks your account.
