Yes! To save an unfinished email without sending it, click the Save Draft button to the right of Send.
After you've saved a draft, you can open it at any time. Here's how:
- Click Drafts in the folder list on the left.
- Double-click the message, and click Edit Draft above it to continue writing.
Tip: Do you ever send one form letter to a bunch of people? Saving a message as a draft is an excellent way to maintain a single template for form letters. Here's what you do:
- Write your message, and click Save Draft to save it to your Drafts folder.
- Click Drafts and double-click the message to open it.
- Above the text, click Edit Draft. Now you can add a new "To:" or "Cc:" address.
- Ready to send it? Important: Hold down the shift key and click Send. (If you don't hold down the Shift key, the message is removed from your Drafts folder when you send it.)
