Here’s how:

1. In the upper-right corner of your Yahoo! Mail page, click Options and select Mail Options.
2. On the left of the page that opens, click General.
3. Un-check the box beside “Enable Connection-related features (Messages, Suggestions, Updates)”.
4. Click Save.

Now you’re back in the older design of Yahoo! Mail with no connections features.
