To add a Windows Live™ contact your Messenger list:

1. Find Contacts on the left side of the page.
2. To the right of Contacts, click Add.

   The "Add Contact" window opens.

3. In the "Y! Messenger" box in the middle, type your Windows Live contact’s ID, choose "Windows Live (MSN)" from the pull-down menu.
4. Click Save

Notes: To start chatting, your Windows Live friend must first accept your invitation. They must also be using the latest version of Windows Live Messenger. Windows Live IDs include email addresses with the following domains:

• Hotmail
• MSN
• Live
