How do I address an email to someone?
- The easiest way is to click "Compose" to start a new message and then begin typing the person's name or address in the "To:" field. If the person is already in your contacts list, Yahoo! Mail completes the address for you. And that is called Address AutoComplete. Clever?
- You can also click the "To:" button and your list of contacts pops open. Select the recipients you want, and then click "OK." Easy?
- If the person is already in your contacts list, click "Contacts" in your list of folders on the left and click directly on the address of the person you want to email. A Compose window opens with their address up top. Handy?
- If the person you want to send an email to isn't in your contacts list, just type their email address in the "To:" field. After your message is sent, you'll have the option to save the address you just typed into your Contacts folder. Yes!
