Are you stuck looking at this:

Attaching files...

Please wait while we attach the file(s) to your message.

If so, there’s a good chance that your attachment might be too big! Check: does it use more than 10MB? If so, Yahoo! Mail won’t be able to attach it.

If it’s not too large, but is still a very large file, it might simply be taking a long time because larger files take longer to upload.

Difficulty attaching could also be due to:

  • Slow connection speeds
  • Browser issues
    • In this case, we recommend that you try using a different browser (if you are using IE, try switching to Firefox or Netscape, etc.), and try uploading your files at less busy times of the day.
    • The Firefox browser can be downloaded here.
    • The Netscape browser can be found here.
    • The Internet Explorer browser can be found here.
  • Other programs running—If you have a bunch of other programs currently running, your available memory may be low. This can slow down the attaching process. We recommend closing any programs you’re not using, then going through the attachment process again.
