Search Views are different ways to view your search results. Each view is designed to provide the best presentation possible for the right kind of data. You can toggle between the different views by clicking the view links at the top of the search results page.
There are three views:
-
Message View: This is the standard view that shows a list of email messages that match your search criteria. From this view, you can take several actions on the messages – move, flag, delete, etc.
-
Photo View: This view provides a photo-centric view of your search results. It displays thumbnails of the photos contained in the messages in your results - without having to open up each email message. From this view, you can take several actions on the photos: click through to the larger photo, save the photos to your computer, or click through to the original message where you can forward the photos to a friend. Keep in mind that the Refinement options in this view are specific to the photos (not the email messages).
-
Attachment View: This view provides an attachment-centric view of your mailbox. It displays a list of the files attached to messages in your mailbox – without having to open up each email message. The view contains a thumbnail image for most file types, and additional information on the file and email message. From this view, you can save any of the files to your computer. Keep in mind that the Refinement options in this view apply to the files (not the email messages).
