You can forward a message two ways: simply as an email, or as an attachment to an email. And with either method, if the original message you're forwarding has attachments, they're automatically attached. Sweet!
Start by opening the message you’d like to forward.
To forward the message as an email:
- Above the message, click Forward.
- This opens a Compose page. First, add the address(es) of the contacts to whom you'd like to forward this message.
- There's space inside the Compose window above the message you're forwarding where you can add your own additional text, like “Hey look what Sam said...”
- Ready? Click Send.
To forward the message as an attachment:
- Hold down the Ctrl key on your keyboard, then click the Forward button above the message you're forwarding.
- A Compose window opens, with the forwarded email attached as a .eml file.
- Type an email address and compose an email as you normally would.
- All set? Click Send.
