How do I upload an image to my web page?

Site Wizard allows you to add your own image to your page template. The image you choose will be displayed at the top of each page of your site, next to your company name. You can choose a picture you've already uploaded to your account, upload a new image, use the template's default image, or decide to use no image at all. Currently, Yahoo! Local Site Wizard supports only .jpg and .gif image files.

  • Use an image you've already uploaded to your account. Select an image from the pull-down menu, which will list all of the image files currently available in your account. (If you see no options in this pull-down menu, your account does not currently contain any images.)
  • Upload a new picture. Upload an image from your computer for use with your page:
    1. Click "Browse".
    2. Locate the file on your computer and click "Open".
    3. Choose "Upload".
  • Use the template's default image.
  • Do not use a picture.

Note: When you upload your image in Site Wizard, it will be automatically resized to fit your page. You won't be able to use Site Wizard to resize the picture yourself.

Please note: Be sure the name of the image file you want to upload includes no special characters, symbols, or spaces. Image file names may contain only upper- or lowercase letters, numbers, underscores (_), dashes (-), and periods (.), and cannot start with a period.
