How do I stop my browser from making clicking sounds?

If you hear a clicking sound while using Yahoo! Kids TV, you can disable it. Please note that this change stops your browser from "clicking" whenever you click a link in any site in IE, not just for Yahoo! Kids TV.

  1. In Windows, click your "Start" button, then choose the "Settings" menu, then choose "Control Panel" from the menu that pops up.
  2. In the Control Panel window, double-click "Sounds and Multimedia."
  3. When the Sounds and Multimedia Properties window pops up, scroll down in the Sound Events pane until you find the Windows Explorer section.
  4. In the Windows Explorer section, scroll down to find the "Start Navigation" item.
  5. Click the "Start Navigation" item, then click the pull-down menu under "Name," and choose "None" from the list.
  6. Finally, click the "OK" button to close the Sounds and Multimedia Properties window.

This change stops you from hearing all the clicking sounds while using Yahoo! Kids TV.

Note: Please make sure to check with a parent, teacher, or adult in charge of the computer before downloading any software or changing any settings on your computer.
