You betcha. When you type a keyword into the search box, Yahoo! Kids looks for exactly what you typed in (although it does not pay attention to case, so "Winnie the Pooh" is the same as "winnie the pooh"). If your word is wrong by even one letter, you might not find what you're looking for.
How do you keep this from happening? For starters, search only on words you know how to spell correctly. If you're not sure how to spell Revolutionary War, then search for "war" and then browse through the "War" category that comes up. Or look in a dictionary or ask a friend to make sure your spelling is correct!
